Hi! I’m Mel.

I began teaching yoga and meditation in NYC in 2016. I can’t believe it’s been over a decade that I’ve been able to share this life-changing wisdom. I’ve been fortunate to teach at studios across the city, in private homes, at corporations, and for non-profits.

While being a teacher is the greatest gift, I’m a student always. I’ve studied with highly experienced teachers in Iyengar, Jivamukti, and Ashtanga traditions. I’m inspired by functional movement practices, ancient philosophy, and the language of Sanskrit — all of which shape me as a teacher.

I’ve studied Buddhism extensively since 2022. My most treasured time is when I’m on silent retreat each year, where I continually redefine what silence is.

In 2025, I began the years long journey to become an Ayurvedic practitioner. I’m living proof that food is medicine.
